We thank everyone for making our 4th Annual Paws for a Cause fundraiser a huge success! We had a goal of $30,000 and we are proud to announce that by days end we met. The day was packed full of fun and excitement. With over 400 people in attendance, the kids enjoyed the arts & crafts, petting zoo, bounce house and slide. The entertainment included live music by Blue Dawg, the natural horsemanship demonstration by Fox Grove Farms and the dog agility demonstration by Surfside Dog Training. The Silent Auction was a big success as well as we had many different items to bid on from Disney World tickets, a dollhouse and the unique artwork done by cats of the cats of Caring Fields, and many more exciting items. The food was from Park Avenue and La Borgata Ristorante which proved to be delicious. Everyone enjoyed getting a tour of our unique facility and meeting many of our feline residents. We were thrilled that additionally we had four adoptions. Click on the Paws for a Cause link to see more photos from this years event. Paws For A Cause Thank you all for your support.

The Hobe Sound Animal Protection League is a non profit 501 (c) (3), no-kill, feline rescue group. HSAPL uses the TNR Program (trap, neuter, return or re-home) with cats that have been abandoned. We have found this to be the most humane method of controlling the overpopulation of homeless cats in this country.
With your support our organization has made vast strides toward educating the residents on the treasure coast about the humane choices they can make to help in the battle against overpopulation of unwanted pets. We salute you, and we promise to continue with our work throughout the coming years.
Our sanctuary at Caring Fields in Palm City, Florida is currently housing many cats that are adoptable. We also house non-adoptable cats who are not fully socialized or have disabilities that may prevent them from finding "forever" homes.
We are extremely proud of our very successful track record with the TNR Program. Since 2001 we have spayed and neutered over 600 cats in various colonies in Martin County, but there is still lots of work to be done.
HSAPL has expanded our foster and adoption programs. We now have a number of very adoptable cats and kittens who remain in foster care until they are able to find permanent homes. Please call us for more information regarding available cats or visit us every Saturday from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm at our booth at PetSmart, located on US 1 in Jensen Beach, Florida.
